Short bio
Helena Pedro is a software engineer and product builder from Angola, based in Bellevue, Washington. Her work spans backend systems, data platforms, and production AI. She created Resume Feedback Platform, an AI-powered product that analyzes resumes and tracks improvement across versions. The platform was featured in the Handshake AI Showcase through the Handshake × OpenAI Developers Codex Creator Challenge. She also earned the Agents League — Creative Apps digital badge, issued by the Global AI Community through a Microsoft event, and her work has received international media coverage.
Extended bio
Helena Pedro is a software engineer and product builder from Angola, based in Bellevue, Washington. With more than five years of experience, she has built backend systems, data platforms, analytics workflows, and full-stack products across financial technology and AI. Before moving to the United States, she worked as a software development engineer at Banco Millennium Atlântico, contributing to systems and data workflows supporting a large financial institution.
Helena created Resume Feedback Platform to help professionals communicate their value more clearly through AI-powered analysis, version tracking, and collaborative feedback. The project was featured in the Handshake AI Showcase through the Handshake × OpenAI Developers Codex Creator Challenge. She also earned the Agents League — Creative Apps credential, issued by the Global AI Community through a Microsoft event. Her work has been featured by ONgoma, AngoRussia, Bantumen, and Revista Carreira.
